Wedding Cake /Gown Lace Embellishing Techniques Workshop (FULL)In this workshop you will learn a technique Kathleen started using in the early 90ís for making display boards and cakes.

Kathleen then developed the technique using piping gel and luster dust in the early 90's to replicate hard candy pearls and adding gold embellishments to her cakes; during the time she owned and operated her own wedding cake salon. This technique impresses, even the most distinguished cake design artist.

Learn how to transfer Victorian scrolls or other design work, by making your own embossing pattern/presses; embellishing techniques to make your wedding cakes resemble Bridal Gown design work; by using piping gel, edible dusting powders, applying highlights and dimension to your wedding cake designs.

This technique maybe used on cakes frosted with buttercream, whip cream or fondant cakes. After design is completed you may refrigerate, piping gel will not run. This technique works great, If you do not want to use hard type candy pearls, silver or gold dragees; this technique will achieve the same look without the worry of someone biting down on a hard candy.

One half retainer required to hold space in class, final payment due first day of attendance with cash or credit card. Payment can also be made using the PayPal Payment Plan. Thank you!
